My dad and I were scheduled to go out on Tuesday of last week when our cruise ship arrived at Port Canaveral. Captain Chris had made arrangements for us to be picked up at the port, which was an awesome gesture that was way beyond his charter obligation. My dad who is 72 had internal bleeding on the ship and had to be taken to the hospital in Cape Canaveral. Captain Chris understood the situation and showed more concern for my dad’s health than his own revenue loss. I can not express how disappointed we were not to be able to take this charter, but could not have been more impressed by the professionalism of Captain Chris. I want to say a sincere thank you to Captain Chris and there is no doubt in my mind that when we return to Florida my first stop will be to Fired Up Charters to not only get out fishing, but to personally say THANK YOU. Let me start by saying I have been fishing all my life. Growing up on Long Island, my Dad took me out all the time and I have experienced everything from the bay to the Ocean off Montauk. With that being said, I have fished with Capt Chris on several occassions and have never been disappointed. He is extremely knowledgeable and motivated to get you on fish and a great person to interact with. His boat is the perfect layout for a Florida outing. Whether its off the beach or out deep, we go where the fish are biting. I have even brought some friends along who had a blast as well.

Booked a half day shark trip 1-22-14. Caught 2 sand tiger sharks over 6′ long and cooler full of pompano and whiting. Grills restaurant cooked the fish and we ate it within an hour. Wow! Thanks Capts Chris and Joey!

Since I first contacted Chris he has been honest and straight up with me about how the fishing is and how the conditions are we have been out twice now and each time has been very successful. Chris and his crew truly have a passion for what they do I have been out with many charters and you just don’t always have a captain who cares if you get on the fish or not. We had a great time fishing with Captian Chris. The fishing started out real strong in the morning but slowed a bit as mid morning hit. But Chris was prepared and asked us if we wanted to change things up and I am glad we did. I have fished with many charters and I am always happy when a Captain can be flexible and professional enough to try and keep his clients hooked up. I hope to fish with him again soon.
I have been fishing with Captain Chris for almost 1 year. He is family friendly and makes you feel very welcomed once you get on the water. He will always be honest about the activity on the water – if it’s been slow, he will let you know. If it’s going to be rough out – you will know ahead of time to make a decision of what works best for you and your fishing group. For the ladies, the boat is great because it has a bathroom! I’ve been out with Chris many times, and I can honestly call him a friend. A lot of charter captains just want to take you out, maybe catch you a fish, then get home, you can tell it bores them, and its only a job, not a passion. Captain Chris is not like this at all though! He will do his best to help you catch what you would like to, but if that particular species isn’t biting, he will do everything he can to get you hooked up on something nice that is! if that means going above and beyond other charters, he will. When fishing with Chris you will learn a ton, and really make a memory that will last forever.
His boat is beautiful, big, and fast. So not only will you get to the fishing spot faster than most other captains, you will be more comfortable on the way! He takes great care of his fishing gear as well, so when you hook up to a great fish, you will NEVER have to worry about his gear failing, or his knots not being tied tight enough. he wants more than anything for you to catch fish so he will do everything he can, so that you go home with fish in the cooler and memories in the mind! Once you fish with Chris you’ll be hooked for sure!
